I love the recycled whale rescue joke! I had to explain it to my newbie 30 Rock fan roommate...
My wife is a newbie to 30 Rock, and she needed the explanation, too. Thankfully, all seasons of 30 Rock are available to watch on Netflix, so we just went straight back and watched that joke the first time (Season 2, "Greenzo").
Good times.
I didn't understand the part about "you should even recycle jokes" until I read this post..........but I enjoyed the Al Gore appearance anyway!
