You asked for it

I've gotten a few emails from concerned (former) readers, so I guess I should give you another update on what's going on in my life.

It wasn't fair of me to leave you with no information about my whereabouts other than my homelessness.  But, well, when you're homeless (or, as in our former situation, renting a single room on a weekly basis in the home of a man who is DEFINITELY a serial killer), updating your blog is low on your list of priorities.

You'll be glad to know that Troubletron and I are now back in an apartment of our own.  Sure, we have roaches.  Yes, getting mugged is daily a potential reality.  But, we have a place to call a home in which we have three locks between us and the serial killers.

I tend to be a little dramatic.

But, we're ok.  I'm away from a computer with open internet access for 10 hours a day, so I've let the blog slip.  I'll try to be better.

Thanks for caring (I'm talking to you three people--you know who you are).

So glad you're alive... You've been missed and will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers as cheesy as that sounds.

With it was timing. About the time I would really really start to worry, a tweet would come through. As long as you tweeted every few weeks, I figured things were just crazy. Really hope things get better :- (

whew! glad you are okay and settled into a new home...keep your three locks fastened. We are living the hard life too in the big city (although Salt Lake City just might be a little bit safer than DC area)
