So much for my dream of having over-the-knee boots.
Troubletron saw me admiring these in a catalog just before Christmas time. They were on a mega-sale, so he ordered them for me.
I should have known better.
I'll just bury this dream in the same hole as my old dreams of being able to sit on a plane comfortably and buying jeans off the rack in a regular store.

They're still good-looking boots!
Though those might technically be long enough to go over my knee, I'm quite sure they would never pull up over my gigantic man-calves. At least you can wear them - and they do look pretty awesome.
I share NG's problem. My only dream re: boots is just to get some that fit over my elephantine calves. Those boots are awesome. Over the knee may look too Robinhood-esque, anyway.
I had this same issue. I went to DSW and tried on 2 pairs of "over-the-knee" boots. At least I finally found knee high boots that hit my knee!
Sorry...another dream crushed. At least it wasn't your dream of making out with a tree on television. There is still a chance for that.
I have yet to find a pair of boots that fit, but for the opposite reason. Under the knee boots always go over the knee and over the knee boots become thigh highs. I give up.
